The 800th Military Police Brigade shoulder sleeve insignia is the authorized combat patch for all individuals active in the 800th or any subordinate unit during Desert Storm.

The axe head shape of the insignia symbolizes authority and security.

The oak leaf is a reference to the shield of the organization s distinctive unit insignia and the oak trees at Fort Ord, California, where the unit was first activated.

The sword symbolizes duty, military strength and law enforcement.

On a yellow axe-head shape 2 inches in width and 3 inches in height overall with an 1/8 inch green border, and a green oak leaf surmounted by a yellow sword, hilt down.
